Just two weeks ago, Olympic and World champion (and champion of our lives TBH) Simone Biles shared a video performing a vault never before attempted by a woman in competition: a Yurchenko double pike.
The internet went wild, of course. Then, the general consensus that the gymternet came to was… “She’s probably just messing around.” “She’ll never compete that in Tokyo.” “She doesn’t need it to win.”
Well, we are here to tell you that does not seem to be the case.
On Thursday, Biles tweeted the following:
To be clear: We are not okay. Fingers crossed Biles is planning to go out with an absolute bang in Tokyo and show the naysayers why she is, and will forever be, the G.O.A.T.
